Welcome to the Hippo CMS website

Hippo CMS is an open source information centered content management system. It's targeted at medium to large organisations managing content for multi-channel distribution like web sites and intranets. It facilitates an open and flexible way of using your information by following international accepted open standards.

To get started, visit the Getting Started Tracks page, which should guide you through the process of evaluating the system. To know what we're up to, read the Hippo CMS developers blog at http://planet.hippocms.org.

Hippo CMS v6.05.03 released!

Hippo Repository v1.2.15 released!

Hippo is proud to announce the latest release of the Hippo Repository:
version 1.2.15. This release contains two important bug fixes.

Some highlights:

  • Add configurable wait time between retries in replicator
  • Add (highly) experimental HTTPCluster propagator
  • Add support for deploying in Tomcat 6 with ActiveMQ
  • Fix broken JGroups Clustering in version 1.2....
